Celebrating Leadership and Innovation: Sarita Ceron Honored in the ISSA Emerging Leaders Class of 2025

At Custom Cleaning & Management Services (CCMS), we believe that excellence in service begins with exceptional people — individuals whose dedication and innovation elevate not only our company but the entire cleaning and facility management industry.

Today, we are proud to celebrate one of our own: Sarita Ceron, recognized as 2nd Runner-Up in the ISSA Emerging Leaders Class of 2025 — a national honor highlighting 30 young professionals under the age of 40 shaping the future of the global cleaning and facility solutions industry.

Selected from more than 120 nominations, Sarita’s achievement is a testament to her leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence — values that truly embody the spirit of CCMS.

About the ISSA Emerging Leaders Award

Being recognized by ISSA — the world’s leading cleaning industry association — is not only a personal achievement for Sarita but also a reflection of CCMS’s investment in professional growth, training, and innovation.

Sarita’s recognition reinforces CCMS’s guiding principle — “Cleaning Forward!” We are a forward-thinking company built on teamwork, resourcefulness, and a passion for delivering outstanding results to every client. Her success reminds us that when we invest in people, excellence follows.

These principles represent not just what we do, but how we do it — with reliability, transparency, and care.

At CCMS, we take pride in serving mixed-use spaces and complex environment facilities, where attention to detail and adaptability make all the difference. Our strength lies in combining human-centered leadership with measurable performance.

Leading with Purpose: From Quality to Culture

As Quality Control and Compliance Manager, Sarita combines her background in environmental engineering with extensive expertise in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 14064 certifications. Her leadership has strengthened frameworks that enhance performance, sustainability, and safety across multiple CCMS operations.

Her ability to balance technical excellence with a human approach ensures quality and consistency in every environment. Beyond technical excellence, Sarita is known for her ability to connect quality, culture, and purpose through a leadership style centered on people.

Featured in the ISSA article “Culture You Can Measure,” she emphasizes that creating a strong workplace culture is about daily habits and shared values:

“Culture is built through daily actions, through habits, through shared moments, through communication. When those practices align with the organization’s mission and vision, you can see the outcomes: engagement, collaboration, and quality.”

KPI-Driven Culture: Measuring What Matters

As part of CCMS’s commitment to measurable excellence, Sarita believes that culture can — and should — be measured. She often says that “what gets measured gets improved,” actively applying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track engagement, communication, and participation within teams.

During her ISSA interview, she shared her perspective on how to measure culture, highlighting her use of data and consistency to strengthen organizational values. She also discussed her idea of a Participation Index, a creative KPI designed to quantify involvement and collaboration — a concept that perfectly aligns with CCMS’s philosophy of continuous improvement.

Inclusion and open communication are central to her approach:

“When communication is open … everyone feels connected, feels part of [it].”

Ceron champions small practices that foster empathy and belonging. The “phrase of the week” encourages team members to share inspiring thoughts:

“It sounds small; it isn’t. The ritual created space for empathy, reflection, and belonging — and unlocked conversations that improved communication and teamwork.”

Participation is another key measure of culture:

“When someone speaks, it’s because they trust that their voice will be heard. Participation isn’t vanity; it’s a measurable sign of psychological safety.”

Finally, listening is the foundation of cultural growth:

“Listening is simple, but it is the foundation of cultural growth.”

Her passion for measurable culture — blending data-driven systems like KPIs with empathy and teamwork — demonstrates how leadership can inspire accountability and belonging at every level.

Her words perfectly capture the essence of what makes CCMS exceptional: a commitment to excellence driven by people who care deeply about their work, their teams, and the clients they serve.

Empowering Teams and Building the Future

Through her leadership, Sarita mentors emerging professionals within CCMS, empowering both English- and Spanish-speaking teams. She embodies the CCMS mission of “building success through people, partnership, and great service.”

She is deeply committed to education, inclusion, and sustainability, ensuring that every team member understands how their role contributes to a greater mission. Her approach inspires ownership, celebrates diversity, and encourages continuous improvement — all while upholding the CCMS standard of quality, integrity, and service excellence.

Sarita’s recognition as part of the ISSA Emerging Leaders Class of 2025 celebrates not only her personal achievements but also the collective strength of CCMS.

👏 Congratulations, Sarita — and thank you for continuing to make us proud!

Custom Cleaning and Management Services, Corp. becomes an 8(a) SBA EDWOSB Company

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 8, 2021

Jupiter Fl - CCMS has been providing Janitorial Services for 17 years. They partner with private state and local
institutions to provide custom cleaning solutions with exceptional personalized service, attention to detail, and
superior quality. CCMS offers forward-thinking solutions, executed by a great technical team - articulated by a
professional management group. Our mission is to provide our clients with innovative custom solutions that satisfy
both their immediate and long-term needs.

On April 9th, 2021, The SBA 8(a) certification is administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA), a
program that is an essential instrument for helping socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs gain
access to the economic mainstream of America.

This will allow CCMS, a small business to bid on federal procurement opportunities which fall under the 8(a) setasides.

“We are Excited for Prospect of Becoming an 8(a) and EDWOSB for three Reasons:

As an 8(a) company, CCMS is now eligible to bid on set aside contracts with the Federal Government. These
contracts are limited to only 8(a) certified firms, these are great opportunities for CCMS to become part of the
Federal Government network.

Larger janitorial companies bidding on government contracts therefore, having an 8(a) certification will benefit our
firm to subcontracting opportunities which means we will grow and help other companies grow with us as well!

Finally, the branches of the federal government have a 23% 8(a) budgetary target. That is almost 600 federal
agencies that need 8(a) qualified firms to perform on contracts to meet these budgetary targets.
