Armor Guard: Window Protection
When starting a new construction project, it can be very exciting. But there is one important aspect that should not be overlooked. It is window protection. During any construction project, either new windows have just recently been installed or the current windows need to be protected from any construction damage that can occur.
We know the importance, part of our technicians trained work is Armor Guard. Armor Guard is formulated with UV aging properties that allow protection on glass, aluminum/fiberglass window frames, stainless steel, non-porous file/marble walks, tubs showers, floors and many more construction type surfaces.
Our main use here at CCMS is window protection during construction projects. It protects against any scratches, masonry washes and welding sparks, any construction debris from cement or anything else that might fall onto the windows. It also protects against sun damage.
Armor Guard is easily removable by basically gently peeling off the protection layer from the window or surfaces taking with any debris that attached to the protectioin layer

How CCMS is helping schools follow all reopening protocols with our Cleaning Services and AAP training.
For the past couple of months, CCMS has been an active participant in the conversations about reopening of schools. Why Legionella Bacteria is becoming a Concern to Closed Buildings.
The concerns for Legionella Bacteria arose in Atlanta when the Property Managers noticed an abundance of the bacteria found in the facilities water system. This is due to the fact that high temperatures of about 80 to 120 Fahrenheit is a perfect breeding ground for which these bacteria thrive in. Since the start of the pandemic a lot of building locations and Cooling Towers had to be closed and the maintenance were not kept up. Legionella Bacteria is a concern because it can cause deadly pneumonia to unsuspecting victims.
Fortunately, Legionella Bacteria can be eliminated by chlorination and other disinfecting routines as well as flushing the water system. Extra caution should be taken because the bacteria can create sludge inside the pipes which can be hard to get rid of. Maintaining and flushing the water from all buildings and Cooling Towers before reopening is crucial to keeping Legionella Bacteria away from yourself and coworkers.
